Free Online 8 Week Courses
This online MBSR training course is 100% free, created by a fully certified MBSR instructor, and is based on the program founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
In 2015 Per Norrgren created and recorded an eight week MBSR/MBCT mindfulness course and made it available for free on the internet and it is helping some 50,000+ people to find calm and some level of inner peace.

SUPPORT FOR INTEGRITY IN TEACHING AND TRAINING (SiTT)
By coming along to a SiTT Group you become part of a local community of mindfulness teachers, trainees, trainers and assessors who adhere to UK good practice guidelines. The group come together monthly to sit, reflect on teaching and personal practice, and to offer kindness, support and inspiration to one another as we continue on our journey of personal and professional development. You will also become part of the wider SiTT community, a broader network of resource and support for integrity.
THE MINDFULNESS INITIATIVE
The Mindfulness Initiative was founded by Madeleine Bunting and Chris Cullen in November 2013 to support British politicians in forming the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Mindfulness. Their partners include the four mindfulness training and research centres in Bangor, Exeter, Oxford and Sussex universities, as well as the Mental Health Foundation, Mindfulness Association and Breathworks, and they benefit from an advisory group comprising some of the most experienced mindfulness scientists and practitioners in the UK and around the world.

BRITISH ASSOCIATION FOR MINDFULNESS-BASED APPROACHES (BAMBA)
BAMBA evolved from the UK Network of Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training Organisations as it adapted to developments in field of mindfulness in the UK.

The UK Network dates back to 2005, when mindfulness teachers from the Universities of Bangor, Oxford and Exeter and from Breathworks CIC and NHS Scotland, all of whom had been developing training programmes in response to the growing demand for well-qualified teachers, came together to form a collaborative network to explore ways of working together to support and help shape the development of mindfulness in the UK.
